Student Counsellor. Headingley LS6 and online
I’m a Person Centred trainee counsellor in my final year. I am also registered as a student with the BACP, ensuring my ethical practice. I receive regular supervision which supports my learning and development.
My professional experience is within the Violence Against Women and Girls sector, where I have learnt the value of creating safe spaces for individuals to explore their safety as well as emotional needs. I have experience of supporting people who have endured honour based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse. I appreciate the steps it can take to reach out for help and build the skills to recover from such trauma.
I am motivated to offer a non-judgemental and supportive environment both online as well as face to face.
