Qualified Counsellor. Headingley LS6 and online
I’m a Person-Centred counsellor who values empathy, acceptance, and authentic connection. As such, I aim to offer a supportive and respectful space for every client. Moreover, I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I work within a clear ethical framework. In addition, I attend regular supervision to support my professional development and reflective practice.
My background lies in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector. Through this experience, I have seen the impact of safe, non-judgemental spaces for people processing trauma. Specifically, I have worked with individuals affected by honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and domestic abuse. As a result, I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help and begin the healing process.
Whether I’m working online or face to face, my priority is to build a warm and trusting relationship with each client. Ultimately, I believe every person’s journey is unique. Therefore, I offer a space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace, with compassion and without judgment.
