Based in Headingley LS6 and online.
My name is Kim, and my background is in both social care and education. For many years, I have used counselling skills as an integral part of my work, offering one-to-one support and group sessions for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
Since qualifying as a counselling practitioner, I have run my own private practice. Alongside working with individual clients, I also work as an affiliate counsellor with organisations including Free Your Mind.
I am a person-centred practitioner. This means I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore the issues you’re facing. Together, we work at your pace to understand your experiences and move toward positive resolutions.
Although my core approach is person-centred, I also draw on other counselling methods when appropriate. I recognise that everyone is different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I follow their ethical guidelines. In addition, I hold a current DBS certificate.
