Trainee Counsellor – Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Oulton Leeds 26 and online

As a trainee person-centred counsellor, I fundamentally believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role as a counsellor is to provide the conditions that create a non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential space. I believe that every individual has the innate capacity for growth and self-healing; my role is to accompany you through the experience, and to help you make positive changes that are right for you.

I have experience of working with people in recovery from substance addiction, adults who experienced issues in their childhood, as well as individuals recovery from anxiety and depression.

I am a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which reflects my commitment to practicing ethically, maintaining high standards, and always prioritising the well-being of my clients. I regularly undertake supervision and recent training has included neurodiversity, working with shame, suicide awareness and sexual abuse. I also have 2 years experience as a Listening Volunteer for the Samaritans and am a licensed CCS Career Counsellor.
